Visualization and Rendering Step by Step

Creating visualizations is an extremely complex process demanding implementation of many activities.
Graphic artist begins his work by creating a 3D model through the transformation of various geometric figures.
3D models are usually constructed of a grid of polygons such as triangles or cuboids, which in contrast to parametric curves can be easily modified.
Then he applies textures on the constructed model, which give the object a more realistic look. For each object graphic artist defines the parameters of the relevant materials, scattering and reflection of light, reflections and other elements that make the visual effect look like a photo. Following task is to create graphic scenes, so using a graphics program, he sets the light, deploys elements of the environment, such as trees in the visualised garden and determines the interactions with the environment.

After developing details of the image and determining its exact parameters, it is possible to go to the last stage of visualization, which is rendering, very often gpu rendering. This task is performed by a computer, which calculates all the previous settings of light sources, materials, reflections, etc.

and then basing on them generates a plane 2D image. The duration of rendering depends on the image settings and computer hardware specifications and sometimes can last several days.

Result of all the processes above is a realistic picture made in photorealistic quality.

Thanks to visualization it is possible to determine the parameters of any image, so that the end result meets certain requirements, which gives this technology a significant advantage over the photograph, which can not thereby alter reality. Since the visuals are still made in the design phase of the object it is possible to avoid the costs associated with subsequent amendments, as for instance visualization will show the aesthetic drawbacks of the proposed car.

3D visualization allows displaying virtual image of a real or not yet existing facility.
It is used mostly by architects, designers and engineers working on designs of new buildings and products. Visualizations are also being used increasingly as a modern and effective marketing tool. Internet Marketing uses 3D visualizations and animations, mainly to enrich the website content.

With their support we can present the latest products and services in an interesting way, and thus reveal their hidden features to customers.

3D animations will also improve the aesthetic value of the website. But that's not all. Visualizations and animations are also increasingly used in viral marketing.
